In order to implement responsible procurement, Ennostar Group publicly released the “Statement on Responsible Sourcing of Minerals,” which declared and committed to 100% prohibition of metals from conflict mining areas and smelters. Ennostar complies with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas as well as other regulations from equivalently recognized due diligence frameworks, and is fully committed to management of raw materials obtained during production processes.
All of Ennostar’s raw material suppliers have to sign a “Supplier Guarantee of Non-Use of Conflict Metals” and fully commit to providing conflict-free products sourced from smelters audited by independent third parties. Ennostar adheres to the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) voluntary self-commitment principle and requires all suppliers to conduct self-assessments. Ennostar also adopted the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) reporting template to conduct due diligence on metal sources from raw materials suppliers and achieved a 100% response rate.

To further ensure supplier compliance, Ennostar began conducting annual on-site audits of at least three raw material suppliers starting in 2022. From 2024 onwards, at least one metal material supplier will be included in the list of suppliers undergoing on-site audits for each year. Additionally, as some of Ennostar’s clients are RBA members, Ennostar is also required to undergo RBA audits each year and provide conflict mineral policies, along with supporting information about implementations.
Ennostar takes the lead among all upstream and downstream supply chain partners in realizing their commitment to banning use of conflict minerals and fulfilling supply chain sustainability responsibilities through the aforementioned actions.
